About Us

After a career spanning more than 30 years in the wholesale and retail industry, Debra Principi retired in 2018 and moved from the fast-paced Washington DC scene, to St. Michaels on the eastern shore of Maryland. That's when I married her husband, Anthony, the absolute love of her life! It was his loving encouragement and support that helped Debra fulfill a life-long dream -- to own her very own little boutique and online business!

Both Anthony and Debra love being near the water and, as you might expect, it can get a little windy. In January 2020, while driving across the Bay Bridge, Anthony reminded Debra to drive slowly because of the high winds. ''Windswept'', she said, and on that day, the company was born! Within a month, Debra headed to market in New York to source outerwear and apparel that embodied her classic style and spirit.
