Industrial Electrician II Note: All communications with candidates will be kept strictly confidential
The Industrial Electrician II is responsible for maintaining electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires extensive hands-on fieldwork with high-voltage and low-voltage equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. As the Industrial Electrician II, you must be familiar with NEC, NETA, NFPA 70 B and NFPA 70 E standards, and a certification in electrical technology, journeyman license, or a minimum of 4 years of related electrical experience.
Salary: $30.96+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Troubleshoot complex motor controls, automation controls, thermal couples, and VFDs
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics
Maintain electrical equipment including but not limited to: Power Plants, Substations, and Pump Stations
Provide technical support during electrical outages, generator start-ups, and weather-related emergencies
Work safely at heights on ladders, towers, and lifts
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Experience Level: Mid-Senior level Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Certifications: certification in electrical technology, or have four years of related electrical experience. Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience
Knowledge of electrical tools and power supplies
Familiar with NEC, NETA, NFPA 70 B, and NFPA 70 E standards
Experience interpreting blueprints and working knowledge of electricity and electronics
Ability to work in various environments and extreme weather conditions
Must be available for emergency call-outs and overtime as needed
Valid driver's license required
Schedule: Four 10-hour days, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
