    The Plant Manager provides overall leadership for manufacturing and supply chain operations, driving continuous improvement efforts and enhancing processes to deliver high-quality products while maintaining competitive costs and reliable lead times. The Plant Manager will bring extensive experience in chemical manufacturing and a proven ability to drive operational excellence, optimize supply chain performance, enhance customer satisfaction, foster employee engagement, develop talent, and maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety. 
     
    Salary: Up to $150,000, depending on experience

    Work location: Easton, Maryland
     
    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provide leadership to production, maintenance, and shipping to consistently achieve quality, service, and performance objectives
    • Oversee inventory management by maintaining inventory levels that support customer demand and on-time delivery
    • Drive a culture of safety excellence with a commitment to preventing lost-time incidents and zero medical treatment injuries
    • Improve operational effectiveness to minimize quality related issues
    • Maintain accurate ERP system transactions
    • Ensure full compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations
    • Coach, mentor, and develop employees while leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
    • Perform additional duties as needed to support plant operations
     
    Qualifications:
    Experience Level: Senior level
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field
    • Several years of plant or manufacturing leadership experience
    • Strong understanding of core business principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources management
    • Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 80/20 principles, or similar
    • Comprehensive understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory management, and operational best practices
    • Experience with inventory control systems and MRP or ERP systems
    • Familiar with OSHA, EPA, AS9100, and Good Manufacturing Practices
     
     
    Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
