Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a vital member of the finance team, responsible for supporting the company’s accounting and financial operations while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will help maintain strong internal controls, support efficient financial management across manufacturing and production activities, and contribute to strategic business initiatives through meaningful financial analysis and operational insight.
Salary: Up to $85,000/year, plus bonus
Work location: Easton, Maryland

Essential Job Functions:- Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Monitor inventory transactions and operational financial performance
- Strengthen internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Implement opportunities for process improvement and provide financial insights to support leadership decision-making
- Assist with cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and perform cost accounting activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Senior level
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Several years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Background in public accounting or experience in a corporate accounting leadership capacity
- Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, cost/variance analysis, and GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in accounting software
Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday
