Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support a range of accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting functions. This role is ideal for someone with strong reconciliation skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a desire to improve processes and contribute to operational efficiencies.
The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations while also assisting with reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers significant opportunity for professional growth within a collaborative finance team.
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000/year, depending on experience
Work location: Easton, Maryland

Essential Job Functions:- Perform daily cash receipts processing and reconciliation
- Process accounts payable invoices, assist with accounts receivable, and support payroll processing
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status in a timely and professional manner
- Clear and reconcile transactions in accounting systems following ACH payments
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, utilize Excel to support reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives
- Identify and support opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across accounting functions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Mid-Senior level
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Experience with AP, AR, payroll, and strong reconciliation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Exposure to financial reporting and FP&A concepts
Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday
