Talbot County Department of Social Services Earns National Reaccreditation
EASTON, MD — The Talbot County Department of Social Services (TCDSS) has earned national reaccreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA), demonstrating its continued commitment to best practice in child welfare, adult services, family investment, and child support services.
COA Accreditation is an independent validation of agency performance. The process includes a robust review of programs, management, and service delivery against international standards, ensuring TCDSS services are coordinated, evidence-based, and outcomes-driven.
TCDSS demonstrated compliance through written documentation and on-site interviews conducted by trained peer reviewers. Based on these findings, the COA Accreditation Commission approved the Department’s reaccreditation.
