  • Talbot Humane Launches “Paws & Plates – Gourmets Giving Back 2026,” A Monthlong Community Dining Initiative

Talbot Humane invites the community to dine with purpose this May during Paws & Plates – Gourmets Giving Back 2026, a monthlong partnership with beloved local restaurants donating a portion of their proceeds to support animals in need.

Throughout May, participating restaurants across Talbot County will contribute a percentage of their daily sales to Talbot Humane, turning everyday dining into meaningful impact for the pets and people of the Mid-Shore.

The initiative reflects a growing community-driven approach to animal welfare and signals continued momentum for the organization’s future advancement efforts.

“Paws & Plates is more than a fundraiser,” said Talbot Humane Executive Director Patty Crankshaw-Quimby. “This is a month-long celebration of what makes this community extraordinary.”

“Each meal shared this May directly supports lifesaving care, while also strengthening the partnerships that will help us expand our impact in the years ahead,” she says. “This is how we build a more humane future together.”
