Call for a Lead Carpenter
Tred Avon Players is looking for a Lead Carpenter to help bring our sets to life!
OXFORD, Md - September 22, 2026 - Tred Avon Players is seeking a Lead Carpenter to oversee the construction, painting and assembly of sets for four productions in 2027.
You don’t need a theater background. We’re looking for someone with construction or building experience who is organized, enjoys working with people and can lead a crew of volunteers. We have a group of regular volunteers ready to pitch in with set construction and painting. Rob Sanchez, who has led our set construction in the past, will continue to be involved in a supporting capacity.
Our workshop and set pieces are located behind the Oxford Community Center, just a few feet from where our productions take place.
This is a volunteer position, as are nearly all roles with TAP. It’s a great way to get involved behind the scenes, working with directors and set designers, to help bring our productions to life. As a volunteer, you will receive complimentary tickets to shows and our unending gratitude.
