About Us
The St. Michaels Community Center (SMCC) has been serving St. Michaels and the Bay Hundred community for more than 35 years, providing food assistance, educational programs, youth development, and opportunities that strengthen our community. Our mission is to provide food, education, and social programs in a safe, nurturing environment where everyone belongs.
Today, SMCC operates one of the region's most comprehensive community support centers, offering hot community meals, home-delivered meals, a client-choice food pantry, youth and senior programs, a community garden, cooking and nutrition classes, and free community events that bring neighbors together. Our growing campus also includes Treasure Cove Thrift Store, expanding teen programming, and spaces that support learning, connection, and opportunity.
Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, civic organizations, and hundreds of volunteers, SMCC serves thousands of individuals each year while creating a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. Whether you're looking to volunteer, partner, attend an event, or support our mission, everyone is welcome at SMCC.
