Talbot Goes Purple in September!
The movement continues. Talbot Goes Purple is a substance abuse awareness program that engages our community and encourages our youth to stand up against substance abuse.
It includes purple clubs in our middle and high schools, where students learn they don't need alcohol or drugs to face life's challenges. TGP encourages our community to 'Go Purple' as a sign of taking a stand against substance abuse and is an initiative of the Talbot County Sheriff's Department and Tidewater Rotary, in partnership with Talbot County Public Schools and the Mid-Shore Community Foundation.
Our Young Professionals August luncheon will feature guest speaker Steve Elliott of the Talbot County Sheriff's Department. Please join us at the Tidewater Inn.
