  • Operation Save a Life 
    This summer, Worcester Goes Purple and Warriors Against Addiction launched an
    innovative, life-saving campaign called, ‘Operation Save A Life.’ The program
    involves mounting an overdose response kit at local businesses, in an eort at
    having the opioid overdose response medicine at every business across the county.
    We at Talbot Goes Purple love the campaign and are launching it here in our county
    at NO COST to local businesses, non-profits, faith organizations, civic organizations
    and government oces. If you would like to become a partner and Stand Up Against

    Participating businesses/organizations will receive a small, unlocked, clear unit that
    mounts onto a wall that is easily accessible and visible. The box contains a dose of
    Narcan, which reverses the eects of an opioid overdose, along with necessary
    items like gloves.
    To notify the public that a business/organization has this life-saving medication on
    hand, TGP provides a small window cling for display.
    Partners are listed on the TGP website, mentioned on the TGP Facebook page, (one)
    email communication, oered free on-site Narcan training and oered a free purple
    bulb and other TGP materials if desired.
    The project entails the following at no cost:
    Installation of a small, wall-mounted thermostat cover that contains a box of
    Narcan, and associated accessories.
    Free replenishments as needed.
    Listing on the TGP website as a program participant.
    Free on-site Narcan training if desired.
    Small window cling to display, that indicates participation.
