DESCRIPTION:Easton celebrates Irish heritage every year during its St. Patrick's Day Parade\, followed by the fan-favorite Talbot Young Professionals' Potato Race on Washington St. Click the links below to register\, and Erin go Braugh!\n\n\n\nREGISTER FOR THE PARADE\n\n\n\nWe'd love to have you and your team join the Young Professionals of Talbot County by registering for the Potato Race at 6:15pm\, on Washington Street immediately after the St. Patrick's Day Parade.\n\n\n\nPotato Race Rules & Information\n\nStart/Finish: The race will be held directly in front of the courthouse on Washington Street between Dover and Federal Streets. Teams\, please report to the Talbot Chamber tent immediately after the parade\, at approximately 6:15pm.\n\n\n\nRULES:\n\n	This is a 4-person relay race (with elimination heats as necessary). No more than four (4) teams will run at one time.\n	Name of FIRST PLACE winner will be engraved on race trophy.\n	There is a prize for BEST TEAM SPIRIT as well.\n	Winner is first team across finish line with their potato on the spoon.\n	Contestant must stop and pick up potato if it falls on the ground and resume race from where the potato fell NOT where it rolled to. Contestants may not resume race until potato is balanced on the spoon.\n	Transfers at the assigned relay points must be made spoon-to-spoon and may not be transferred by hand.\n	Contestants may not hold potatoes with any body part during the race\, nor any other contraption.\n	Neither potatoes nor the spoons shall not be mutilated or altered in any way. Spoons CAN NOT be inserted into the potato.\n	Decision of Race Judge is FINAL.\n\n\n\nPOTATO RACE REGISTRATION
