December 20 - 23 "A Christmas Carol" : Back by popular demand, this version of A Christmas Carol features a large ensemble cast of adults and children singing, dancing and filling the theatre with the spirit of the holidays. An Easton-based theatre company, ArtHouse Live's production of Christmas Carol has earned praise from the Washington Post. Avalon Theatre, 40 E. Dover Street, Easton, MD Tickets 410-822-7299.
December 31 - FIRST NIGHT TALBOT: Join friends and neighbors for the Family-Friendly, alcohol-free Celebration of the Arts and entertainment to welcome in the NEW YEAR in Downtown Easton. Features outdoor "Crab Drop" countdown (9PM), all varieties of music, dance, crafts, magic, puppets and dramatic performances. Decorations of journals for the 300th Anniversary of Easton. Collectable buttons good for admission to all locations. Dance performances and dance lessons, comedy, puppet theatre, gospel choirs, live theatre competition, community mosaic, films old and new, lots of music & a moon bounce. 6PM to Midnight. Various locations throughout Town Center including the Avalon Theatre, 40 E. Dover St., Easton, MD.
